ABOUT DR. SCHULTE

Patrick Schulte, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in New York City who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. At Healthy Minds NYC in Midtown East, Manhattan, Dr. Schulte offers a holistic approach to treatment, utilizing various therapeutic modalities that are tailored to the individual in order to help people achieve their goals. 

  • Dr. Schulte is trained in the areas of integrative, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic therapy, as well as medication management. He worked as an adjunct psychiatrist at Fordham University, where he utilized a mix of short-term psychodynamic therapy and medication management to treat both college and graduate students.

    Throughout his career, Dr. Schulte has maintained an interest in teaching and has served as a lecturer for Mount Sinai residents and psychologists, presenting on topics that include management of acute agitation in the hospital setting, major neurocognitive disorders, somatic symptom disorders, and pharmacological management of mood and anxiety disorders.

    Dr. Schulte completed his psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai West and Morningside Hospitals, where he received further specialized training as a consultation-liaison psychiatry fellow.
